Then you're in the right place!Let's say that you absolutely love the polished, cinematic look of traditional videography - but feel like you don't really want the big 5-10 minute video. Maybe you've been thinking that you'd rather have a few short, beautiful highlight reels to share on socials instead... but you're still just not in love with the look of iPhone footage.If this sounds like you, then this is where I come in! I've created a unique blend of these two options.Like a traditional videographer, I still capture your day on a professional video camera in beautiful 4k resolution. Then, like a content creator, I'll spend the next week creating a series of short highlight reels that are ready to share on socials.
Sounds perfect, but what about the rest of the footage?
Lets be honest, no one except for you (and maybe also grandma) really wants to re-watch every single second of your wedding day. This is why my edits focus on quality over quantity, capturing the feeling of your day within a series of short, beautiful reels. These are the videos you’ll watch a million times over, and share with all your friends and family - the perfect little summaries.However, you might be wondering what happens to all the rest of the footage? Everything that you don't necessarily want to share online, but you'd still love to have for yourself one day... Don't worry, you'll get those too!A day or two after your wedding you'll receive all your raw footage, plus a full length 'home video' style edit of your day in traditional landscape format.No cuts, no music, no fluff - this is the raw, unfiltered account of your day, captured the way our parents weddings were. This is the one you'll be watching in 50 years time, glued to the TV and completely absorbed in every little detail.What I'm offering is the best of both worlds - short, sweet, polished reels that you can share straight away, plus an extended, uncut version just for you.
Whats included
Before booking:
We'll have a chat about the details so you can make sure I'm the right fit for you. We can simply talk over email, schedule phone call, or even meet up for a coffee - whatever you'd prefer! I'm based in Christchurch but can travel around New Zealand.
On the day:
I’ll be with you for up to 10 hours, documenting each chapter of your day with my handheld documentary style, focusing on detail and emotion. Travel is included within 50kms of Christchurch, but I'm very happy to venture further out if you cover costs! Please note that I don't record full audio such as vows or speeches.
Within 48 hours:
The first thing you'll receive is a full length, uncut 'home video' style edit, plus all your raw footage so that you can immediately relieve your day. You'll receive all the original 4k files, plus versions that have been compressed for optimal use on an iPhone. These can be downloaded straight to your camera roll and immediately used to make your own edits or share to stories!
Over the next 2 weeks:
I’ll create a series of 20-40 second 'mini highlight reels' that feature different moments, details or themes. I send these through as I edit, with the first one arriving within 72 hours. All of these mini highlight edits are delivered in vertical format for Instagram. The final edit will be a 1-2 minute recap of your whole day, which can either be in vertical or horizontal format - your choice!

Sit back and relax as your feed is filled with beautiful content! I'll do all the posting from my account for the first week, tagging you in everything so that you can just add it to your profile in a single click. Social media colabs are the best kind of marketing for me - so just think of that 10% discount as coming out of my marketing budget! Win-win for both of us.I'll still send each video to you first, so that you can double check it before I post. I might also post some extra sneak peeks or behind the scenes along that way. If you choose this discount you'll also be happy for me to use your footage for any more reel ideas or marketing content in the future.
*Please note: If you want to do all the posting yourself, or keep it fully private, this above option won't be for you. Without this discount, I'll simply send you each reel privately for you to share on your own when you are ready. I won't post any footage to my account without checking with you first, and if you don't want me to post anything publicly is totally fine too.
